Reuben College is committed to supporting its students and fellows to explore research that aims to engage with fundamental questions about values, and about the kind of society we want to live in.
Reuben College is committed to supporting students and fellows as they engage with fundamental questions about values, and about the type of society that we want to live in. The Values & Society Fund (V&S Fund) enables students to organise academic events that contribute to these conversations
What the fund supports
The V&S Fund provides up to £1,000 for Reuben students to organise academic events that aim to address questions related to values and/or society. We particularly welcome applications for interdisciplinary events. Interdisciplinarity includes collaboration across different fields within the humanities; it does not have to involve work with disciplines outside the humanities.
Examples of eligible activities:
- Workshops and small-scale conferences
- Lightning talks on research or research ideas
- Soft skills development events
- Cross-theme meetings
