Yu Han

Biography

Yu Han is currently a second-year DPhil student in the Engineering Science Department at Reuben College. Prior to commencing her DPhil program, Yu obtained an MSc in Regulatory Affairs for Drugs, Biologics, and Medical Devices from Northeastern University in Boston, USA, and a BSc in Clinical Pharmacy from Capital Medical University in Beijing, China. She has accumulated several years of experience working with manufacturers and CRO companies in the USA before pursuing her DPhil.

Yu's research is centered around a comprehensive exploration of regulatory processes for medical products, employing a blend of qualitative and quantitative research methods. In the course of her work, Yu delves into the application of AI and machine learning techniques, integrating them into the regulatory processes for medical products. Her primary focus lies within the realm of regulatory processes, and the application of AI extends to research and quality systems, with potential applications on both the regulatory authority and manufacturer sides.
