Speaker Travel and Accommodation
Air travel, coach transfers and accommodation to and from Oxford has been arranged for each speaker and an individualised itinerary and tickets will be forwarded to speakers shortly.
Heathrow to Oxford Transfers
Those arriving by air will arrive into London Heathrow (LHR), where they should then take the The Airline Coach to Oxford, which departs regularly from the Central Bus Station and Terminal 5.
Journeys take approximately 1.5 hrs.

Via Taxi from the stand on the other side of Gloucester Green (estimated cost £10)
Via Bus (Number 2, 2A, S5, or S7) from the Bus Stops on Magdalen Street which can be accessed by walking across Gloucester Green and down Friar’s Entry. (cost £2)
Travel from the Train Station
Via Taxi from outside the station (estimated cost £13)

The following meals will be provided over the duration of the Conference. Conference attendees will need to make their own arrangements for all other meals.
Breakfast: The hotel will provide breakfast for speakers staying there.
Lunch: A buffet lunch at the Maison Française d'Oxford will be provided for all Conference attendees on both Monday 27 and Tuesday 28 March.
Refreshments: will be served throughout the two days of the Conference.
Conference Dinner Monday 27 March 2023: A 3 course dinner will provided for speakers and selected attendees.
Dress Code: Smart Casual

Oxford is a relatively small city which is easy to get around on foot or by bike. There are plenty of attractions to visit should you have any free time.
The hotel and Conference venue are located within the southern part of Oxford's Summertown district (c.15 mins walk from the hotel) but also within 1 mile (c.20 mins walk from the hotel) of its Jericho district. The Central area of Oxford includes the Bus and Rail Stations plus attractions and restaurants.

There is an abundance of restaurants and cafes in Oxford which cater for most appetites and budgets.
