The Reuben Insights Festival is an exciting event that brings the Reuben community together to share and celebrate the remarkable work of the College’s students and Fellows.
This year’s Insights Festival will be held at Reuben College on Saturday 29 June from 12pm.
We will begin with a round of short PechaKucha-style presentations that will give bite-sized insights into a range of research subjects and innovative ideas. Afterwards, guests will be invited to explore other creative exhibitions and posters over food and drinks.
Students and Fellows are encouraged to present, but this is not a requirement of attendance. Please come along to support your friends and colleagues too.
The Insights Festival provides a fantastic opportunity to practice your presentation and public engagement skills in a friendly environment – please save the date and consider registering to present your work. There are prizes to be won!

FAQs
How can I apply to present my work? You will be asked to complete a short form (coming soon) telling us how you would like to share your work. If you would like to participate in the presentation segment of the event, you will be asked to tell us a little bit about your research.
What is a PechaKucha presentation? The PechaKucha 20x20 presentation format is a slide show of 20 images, each auto-advancing after 20 seconds. It’s non-stop and you've got 400 seconds to tell your story, with visuals guiding the way. The word “PechaKucha” is Japanese for “chit chat.”
Do I have to give a formal presentation? No – while we encourage all students and Fellows to practice presenting their work to a friendly audience, there are other ways to participate in this event. We welcome creative displays, performances, posters etc.
Will there be prizes? Yes – we will be awarding prizes for top presentations in the following categories: 1) Creativity 2) Overall Excellence 3) Audience Favourite
Can I bring a guest? Yes! Please feel welcome to invite your friends, family and colleagues.
