All members of Oxford’s graduate colleges and their guests are warmly invited to a Carol Service by Candlelight at 6.00 pm, Sunday 10 December at the University Church on the High Street. Please book early to avoid disappointment. Bookings will close at 4pm on Saturday 9 December. Please use this form to register your guests also.
The Carol service is a traditional pre-Christmas service in the UK, usually held in churches and cathedrals. It provides an opportunity for the graduate college community to get together to sing some traditional Christmas carols and listen to some readings which will include poems and the story of Christmas told through the Bible.
Everyone, regardless of who they are, is very welcome to attend the service. You do not have to be a Christian or even be religious to attend this event.
