Zohar Katz

Biography

Zohar is a DPhil student in the Interdisciplinary Bioscience Doctoral Training programme (BBSRC DTP), funded by a titular Clarendon Fund Scholarship in partnership with an Oxford-Reuben Graduate Scholarship. Prior to joining University of Oxford, Zohar graduated from The Hebrew University with an MSc in Biotechnology (Magna Cum Laude), where she established a platform which enables the production of therapeutic proteins in tobacco plants. Prior to that, she has completed a BSc.Med in Bio-Medical Sciences from the Hebrew University. Zohar is passionate about translational research in plant science, health, and innovation.
