Zhenyi is developing a gonorrhoea vaccine in Professor Christoph Tang’s lab, focusing on enhancing its effectiveness and boosting immune responses. With over 80 million new infections globally each year, her research is key to addressing this public health issue. As an academic representative for the Dunn School Graduate Student Association, she organises inspiring talks that bring fresh ideas to fellow researchers. Beyond her academic pursuits, Zhenyi is a dedicated flutist in the Oxford Postgraduate Orchestra and actively engages in the university's vibrant cultural community.
