Vijay Pathak is pursuing a DPhil in Engineering Science at the University of Oxford. His research focuses on applying machine learning and computational linguistics to enhance predictions in political and economic forecasting.
Prior to beginning his PhD studies, Vijay completed his B.A. in Ethics, Politics and Economics at Yale University, where he specialised in EU politics and economics. He is an alumnus of Yale's Brady-Johnson Program in Grand Strategy, and in 2024 was awarded the NATO Youth Award by NATO and the Aspen Institute.
Vijay is from Luxembourg and regularly publishes articles on international affairs in the news.
