Shahzaib is a DPhil student in the Gene Medicine Research Group, supervised by Jakob Haldrup, Stephen Hyde, and Daniel Farley. His work aims to develop novel vectors for the targeted delivery of genome editors.
Shahzaib has a BEng in Chemical Engineering from Aston University, including a year abroad at Korea University in Seoul, and an MSc in Advanced Chemical Engineering from the University of Birmingham. Prior to starting his DPhil, he worked at Evox Therapeutics and as a research assistant in the Gene Medicine Research Group.
