Sara Hajjar is a Bseisu Scholar from Lebanon pursuing an MSc in Energy Systems at the University of Oxford. She completed her bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering at Polytechnique Montréal, Canada, where she developed a strong interest in sustainable innovation and the global energy transition. Her academic and professional experiences in aerospace, consulting, and manufacturing have shaped her interest in the intersection of technology, policy, and economics in advancing clean energy solutions.
At Oxford, Sara aims to explore how interdisciplinary research can inform large-scale energy decisions and contribute to developing fair, resilient, and sustainable energy systems, particularly in emerging and developing regions.
