Samvida is a Schmidt AI in Science Fellow, working with Prof Chris Holmes (Statistics) and Prof Jim Hughes (Medical Sciences) to build predictive models of how non-coding genetic variants affect gene expression.
She is a Reuben College Advisor who is very familiar with the Oxford student experience, having recently completed her DPhil from the Genomic Medicine and Statistics program.
In her spare time, Samvida plays badminton and tries to solve cryptic crossword puzzles.
