Isabella Savin is undertaking an MSc by Research in Biochemistry. She completed her Bachelor's degree in Medical Biosciences at Imperial College London in 2024. Her MSc(Res) project involves using super-resolution microscopes to investigate how DNA is organised within cells.
She also runs a blog entitled The Chromatin Digest, which discusses recent findings and trends in epigenetics, the study of how genes are regulated. She is involved in various science communication initiatives, including the recently-founded Oxford Society for Science Communication and Engagement (OSSCE). Outside of her research, she plays football for Reuben College and sings in the College choir.
