Daniel Grimmer

Biography

I am a graduate student working in the intersection of philosophy and physics. I am currently doing a DPhil (a.k.a. a PhD) in Philosophy at the University of Oxford supported by a Clarendon scholarship. Presently I am working on issues surrounding how we model measurements in Quantum Field Theory. Moreover, I am working on extending some of Einstein's key insights about space and time to apply to discrete systems. Prior to this I completed my PhD in Physics-Quantum Information at the Institute for Quantum Computing (IQC) in the University of Waterloo (UW).
