Christina Paz Arguello

Biography

Christina Paz Arguello graduated 1.5 years early from the University of California, Berkeley in Fall 2024 with a major in Legal Studies and minors in Disability Studies and Political Economy. She is now pursuing an MSc in Medical Anthropology at Reuben College, University of Oxford. Her academic and professional interests include healthcare law, mental health advocacy, and equitable health policy—areas shaped by lived experience and a deep commitment to social justice.

Christina has worked across research, education, and residential life, including roles at UC Berkeley’s International House and as a behaviour interventionist supporting neurodivergent youth. A first-generation student of colour with intellectual disabilities, she views her intersectional identity as a source of both resilience and responsibility. Her long-term goal is to pursue a career in medical negligence litigation to reform healthcare systems—an endeavour inspired by the legacy of her late lola.

In her free time, Christina enjoys spoken word poetry, musicals, weightlifting, and hunting down the best caffeinated drinks.
