Biography

I am currently a DPhil student in Computational Statistics and Machine Learning at the University of Oxford.

My research focuses on the theoretical development of deep neural networks to efficiently capture intricate data structures. Within the academic landscape, I am very much interested in the connection between information theory and optimal transport with machine learning.

Beyond the theoretical realm, I am passionate in applying my work to cognitive science, unravelling the complexities of brain behaviour and its functions. In my earlier research pursuits, I worked on reinforcement learning, particularly bandit learning, and causal inference. I enjoy finding connections between different and seemingly distant areas of statistics.
