Amelia is a part-time graduate student reading DPhil in Clinical Medicine, based at the Experimental Medicine Division in the Nuffield Department of Medicine. Amelia also works as an Epidemiologist in the HCAI & AMR Division at the UK Health Security Agency. Amelia's DPhil project is funded by the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Health Protection Research Unit (HPRU) in Healthcare Associated Infections and Antimicrobial Resistance, a partnership between the UK Health Security Agency and the University of Oxford.
Amelia’s research interests include infectious disease surveillance and antimicrobial resistance. Her current research focuses on monitoring the unintended consequences of changes in antimicrobial prescribing.
