Biography

I am a third year DPhil student in the Computational Cardiovascular Science group led by Prof. Blanca Rodriguez. The focus of my work is on diabetes-induced cardiac disorder, which I study at different scales. By integrating big data analysis and mechanistic investigations using human-based computational modelling and simulation, my work aims to identify and explain subclinical, pathophysiological changes in diabetic patients’ hearts.

Prior to this, I obtained an MEng in Engineering Science from Oxford specialising in biomedical imaging, signal processing, and machine learning, followed by a year of training in medical statistics and data science via the CDT in Health Data Science (Big Data Institute).
