Maor Sela is a NERC DTP student in the Department of Physics, supported by the Clarendon Fund and the Oxford-Reuben Scholarship.
His research investigates how aerosols influence deep-convective cloud microphysics using high-resolution cloud-resolving models and dual-polarimetric radar observations.
Before joining Oxford University, Maor graduated from The Hebrew University with an MSc in Atmospheric Sciences, where he examined the relationship between the radiative properties of both bulk and aerosol-like solids in crystalline and amorphous phases. Prior to that, he completed a double-major BSc in Physics and Earth Sciences with specialisation in Climate, Atmospheric Sciences, and Oceanography at the Hebrew University.
