Yaqi is interest in the functional modification of hematopoietic stem cells and progenitors in severe sepsis patients. Through multi-omic data analysis, she is endeavoured to find potential novel immunomodulators to regulate divers maladaptive immune response, including expansions of immature Neutrophils, memory in HSPCs, cytokine storm, etc.
