Reuben College is pleased to announce that they are one of the five colleges now admitting students on the University’s new Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT) in the Fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence.
The University has entered into a new strategic alliance with the Ellison Institute of Technology (EIT) which includes the creation of this new CDT, based within the University’s Mathematical, Physical and Life Sciences Division (MPLS).
EIT have provided scholarship funding for at least 100 postgraduate students over the next five years, with the first cohort starting in October 2025. Applications have just opened.
Professor Lord (Lionel) Tarassenko, President of Reuben College, said:
The Ellison Institute of Technology’s collaboration with the University will have a major impact on research and innovation throughout the University. Graduate students are the engines of research, and this new CDT will enhance the University’s world-leading activities in AI. The cohort of CDT students at Reuben will be part of a very active AI & Machine Learning cluster within the College, which brings together graduate students, Research Fellows and Governing Body Fellows.
