At this Tuesday Talk, Reverend Professor Keith Magee discussed whether the US campaign trail is weaponising race and religion for electoral gain. Professor Magee drew from his book, Prophetic Justice: Race, Religion, and Politics, to explore the historical context of American democracy and how, with empathy, courage, and faith, we can face the injustices of the past and celebrate our common humanity.
