Our Vice Chancellor identifies three parts to our academic mission: teaching, research, and innovation. But what does ‘innovation’ mean in practice? How can we measure the impact of the University’s innovations to know if we’re making a difference? For Oxford, societal impact is as diverse as you might expect. Dr Mairi Gibbs, CEO of Oxford University Innovation, will give an overview of how innovation is enabled by OUI’s expert support and explain OUI’s approach to measuring impact based on theory.
