Food for Thought: Delicious Ways to Save the Planet with Jenny Chandler

Join us for a special Green Action Week event with Jenny Chandler (chef, author and speaker) as she shows us how greener food choices can help us build a sustainable future.

The doors open at 16:30 in Reuben College Dining Hall and the event will combine conversation, tasting and discussion. As Jenny shares insights into sustainable cooking, attendees can try free taster samples, including carlin pea hummus with buckwheat crackers, quinoa, beetroot and "halloumi" fritters, and black bean and sour cherry brownies.

Attendees from across the University are welcome to stay to purchase an informal dinner afterwards from 17:30, which will feature dishes from Jenny’s own recipes, including celeriac and lentil gratin or chicken, chorizo and butterbean cazuela, served with seasonal sides.
