All members of Oxford’s graduate colleges and their guests are warmly invited to a Carol Service by Candlelight at 6.00 pm, Sunday 8 December at the University Church on the High Street. Please book now to avoid disappointment.
The Carol service is a traditional pre-Christmas service in the UK, usually held in churches and cathedrals. It provides an opportunity for the graduate college community to get together to sing some traditional Christmas carols and listen to some readings which will include poems and the story of Christmas told through the Bible. Everyone, regardless of who they are, is very welcome to attend the service. You do not have to be a Christian or even be religious to attend this event.
