Research centre will be created under Oxford University museum lawn

An article in the Oxford Mail explains that construction work taking place in front of the Oxford University Museum of Natural History is for waterproofing and enabling works to the basement levels of Reuben College. The works, which involve refurbishing the Radcliffe Science Library and creating a new home for Reuben College, include significant repairs required to make a safe and secure space for the University's new Collections Teaching and Research Centre.

Alison Stibbe, communications manager for Reuben College, explains that: “For Reuben College, [this project] literally puts the history of the world in our foundations as we seek to address the challenges of the future.”
