Nominations for Reuben at 2024 Vice-Chancellor Awards

Congratulations to all those who have been nominated in the 2024 Vice Chancellor’s Awards, including a number of Reuben members, who are showcasing the best the University has to offer.

Official Fellow, Katrina Charles, has been nominated as part of a team from the School of Geography and the Environment, in the Research Engagement Award category for the ‘REACH improving water security for vulnerable people in Africa and Asia’.

Nat Duffus (DPhil student) is part of the team looking at ‘Influencing the design and implementation of Biodiversity Net Gain in England’, also in the Research Engagement Award category.

Ruth Nanjala (graduate student) has been nominated in the Commitment to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Award category for being part of the ‘Increasing African Student Representation in Oxford’s Postgraduate Studies – The Oxford Africa Society/Africa Oxford Initiative’.

While, our Head of I.T., Alex Wooten is a part of the ‘IT Professionals Working Together to Deliver IT & AV Systems for Reuben College and GLAM’, in the Environmental Sustainability Award.

Congratulations to all our Reubenites who have been nominated – we will be cheering you on when the ceremony to announce the winners and highly commended nominees takes place on Wednesday 8 May at the Sheldonian Theatre.
