Reuben College is pleased to announce a new strategic partnership with Oxford Net Zero (ONZ), an interdisciplinary research initiative to inform effective and ambitious climate action. Leading climate academics are working to track progress, align standards and inform effective solutions in areas such as climate science, clean energy, policy and land and food systems, in order achieve the net zero emissions goal.

Professor Lord (Lionel) Tarassenko, Reuben College President, said: “Reuben College is delighted to be partnering with Oxford Net Zero. The two entities have much in common. We were established by the university within a year of each other. We share a deep commitment to help tackle climate change issues and we both bring an interdisciplinary approach to this task.”

Professor Sam Fankhauser, Reuben’s Environmental Change Theme Lead noted: “As an Official Fellow at Reuben College and Research Director of Oxford Net Zero, I am excited to bring these two amazing organisations together. There are so many ways in which we can collaborate to promote better climate solutions”.

We look forward to hosting joint events and working together on our shared priorities.
