How a handful of scientists developed Oxford vaccine at breakneck speed

Teresa Lambe is part of a relatively small team of Oxford academics who have been able to rapidly translate their work on various vaccines related to the coronavirus known as Sars-Cov-2, which is the virus behind COVID-19.

The article in The Guardian describes how Lambe worked with Sarah Gilbert and others to design a new vaccine for Covid, as soon as the first genetic sequence of the virus was published on the morning of Saturday 11 January.
