We are a supportive community with people and well-being at our heart. College life will be filled with a range of opportunities and initiatives to “live our ethos” and support students in reaching their greatest potential. Much of this programme can be student-directed, according to the needs and ambitions of different cohorts.
Do you want to be a more confident speaker or practise your presentation skills? Would you like to know more about volunteering opportunities or internships? Are you struggling with your work-life balance? We encourage students and researchers to learn from each other and share their knowledge through different initiatives supported by the College.
Examples of development opportunities include:
Life skills seminars:
Lunchtime meetups to share advice, from time management, to cooking on a budget, to leading an eco-life
1-2-1 support:
A mentorship programme, access to counsellors and college advisors to support you and your decision-making
Professional development:
Seminars and workshops on team-building and collaboration, presentation skills, taking your innovation to application, surviving your internship, etc.
